SamMy name is Samuel Shields and as of now I'm and Australian Solider undertaking Kapooka basic training. While I was a aspiring applicant, I wanted my fitness to be above just the minimum requirements. I found Brodies group on Facebook where he gave free and helpful advice. However, I wanted to improve my fitness levels to smash through Kapooka and Singleton so that's when I signed up for the 12 week training program. Throughout that time Brodie taught me all about correct nutrition, training techniques, lifting techniques as well as motivational strategies. Unfortunately, I was called up to the army before I could finish my 12 week program. However, during the 7 weeks spent with Brodie I gained some pretty good results. 9.3 Beep test, now a 10.5. 33 push ups now at 45. I would fully recommend Brodie's program to any aspiring ADF applicant." |
Do I need to travel?
Only to your regular gym, pool or park. Everything is delivered online for your convenience.

Do I need access to a gym?
No you do not need a gym. It is beneficial to have access to weighted equipment to build your strength but can be done with bodyweight. Access to a pool and a pack that can carry up to 20kg is also recommended.

What if my current fitness level is very low?
I cater for all fitness levels. Your program is customized for your fitness level and previous exercise experience. Its better not to waste time and get started ASAP in to bring your fitness level up to the minimum requirements.

How many days will I train?
This all depends on your current fitness level, exercise history and availability. My programs are completely personalised so everyone is different.

Are there any extra fees or hidden charges?
There are absolutely no extra fees or hidden charges, there is no set up cost or anything of the sort. What you see is what you get.

What if I can't do 12 weeks?
My programs are 12 weeks long so that it gives you the best shot at getting the results you want. If in certain cases, like you have your official PFA in 6 weeks time, you cannot commit to 12 weeks than let me know so we can sort out a plan.

What type of support is available?
I am available for support via email, phone or FB messenger should any issues arise or you have any questions.

How is this training different from anything else?
This training is designed specifically for Australian Defence Force Applicants. My training covers everything you require in the military customised to your ability. The training covers strength training, running, swimming, pack marching, equipment carries, mobility, military specific conditioning circuits and more.
My main focus is getting you to smash the military fitness assessments while conditioning your body for the real work in the military. Running, push ups and sit ups will not cut the mustard to create a high performing and injury resilient body. |
