I had started to train sporadically prior to starting with Brodie, but what I needed was a driven, focused, military style training program, and that’s exactly what was delivered. Brodie’s approach is both personal, but also designed to meet a military objective.
I enjoyed Brodie’s methodical approach, building a foundation then honing it to help reach my goals. Brodie was also there along the way to help maintain the training, navigating through day to day challenges and hiccups along the way.
One of the main things Brodie helped me with was pushing beyond my comfort zone; physical strength is worthless if you can’t push your limits."

scottThis three months has been a rollercoaster of incredible highs and very low lows, but through all of that I have kept focused on my goals and fitness, and have achieved a level of fitness I have never been at before previously in my life. |

This training is helping so much already! Started week 1 on 8 push ups, 45 sit ups and 4.8 on the beep test. |
alexBrodie was super accommodating to all needs, especially during covid-19. He adapted and made home workouts fun and tough. He has a wealth of knowledge and definitely knows what he’s talking about. Will also keep you on your toes and make sure you’re coping/handling the training well. |
KyeHi I’m Kye. I started training with Brodie back in January in order to get my fitness up to the PFA standards. I started the program at 5 push-ups, 53 sit ups and a level 5 on the beep test. |
SamMy name is Samuel Shields and as of now I'm and Australian Solider undertaking Kapooka basic training. While I was a aspiring applicant, I wanted my fitness to be above just the minimum requirements. I found Brodies group on Facebook where he gave free and helpful advice. However, I wanted to improve my fitness levels to smash through Kapooka and Singleton so that's when I signed up for the 12 week training program. Throughout that time Brodie taught me all about correct nutrition, training techniques, lifting techniques as well as motivational strategies. Unfortunately, I was called up to the army before I could finish my 12 week program. However, during the 7 weeks spent with Brodie I gained some pretty good results. 9.3 Beep test, now a 10.5. 33 push ups now at 45. I would fully recommend Brodie's program to any aspiring ADF applicant." |
LilyI'm really enjoying Brodie's personalised training program. I am a few weeks in and really impressed at how well it suits my current capability and works toward my goals. It's great to be put into an online team where we can share results and help motivate each other! I can't wait to see how well I am able to progress across the 12 weeks." |
TeairaTraining for my upcoming PFA test for ADF entry and I am SO impressed with how well this one-on-one training program is progressing so far. Brodie keeps you accountable and each week is more challenging. For an online program/ trainer - there is a lot of contact time available whether that is over the phone or on the Facebook group, so you’re always in the loop! Can’t wait to progress further and smash my fitness goals out." |
ServicesOutperform Fitness provides ADF applicants with a 12-week Battle Ready program that prepares them to pass the PFA, perform better during basic training and conditions them for a life in the military.
